The Kurdish School of Cinema was delighted and surprised to meet with one of the oldest film schools in Europe, FAMU, the national film school of Czech Republic.
FAMU have taught award winning film director Milos Forman and has a long tradition of filmmaking.

Vice dean, Dr. Tomáš Petrán, started with a brief presentation of the film school and the students in the Czech Republic.
Dr. Sliman Faiq, head of the KSC, presented the school and its activities from the first year film directing students and arranged a special screening of the student test films.

Furthermore the future vision of KSC was presented with short screenings of KSC academic and corporate relations abroad, a 3D visualization of the KSC complex.

During the meeting Dr. Tomáš Petrán also discussed the possibilities of a future collaboration between FAMU and KSC.

The meeting ended with great enthusiasms and Dr. Tomáš Petrán provided KSC with student films from FAMU, and offered their support under our developing process.
